Living Water Pool Service

Individual service

From green to swimmable in two days.

No draining, no wasted water. We clear the algae, rebalance the water and clean the filter until it runs clear.

Why pools turn green

Algae spores arrive on swimsuits, on the wind and in the rain. Normally the filter catches them. When water sits still, chlorine runs low or the pH drifts, they settle in and grow.

How we clear it

  1. Remove the debris. Leaves and sediment come out first, so the treatment works on the water and not on what is sitting in it.
  2. Rebalance the chemistry. With pH and sanitizer back in range, algae cannot keep growing.
  3. Brush the walls and floor. Algae clinging to surfaces is loosened so the treatment can reach it.
  4. Shock the pool. This kills the algae and bacteria. Large or very overgrown pools may need more than one shock.
  5. Prevent the return. An algaecide stops new growth, and the filter is cleaned as needed, usually two or three times, until the dead algae is out of the system.

Green to Clean questions

Do you have to drain the pool?

No. Green to Clean treats the water you already have, so there is no draining and no refilling.

How long does it take?

Swimmers are usually back in the pool within two days. Very large or heavily overgrown pools can need an extra shock treatment.

How do I keep it from happening again?

Steady weekly care. Algae needs stagnant water, low chlorine or off-balance pH to grow. Weekly maintenance removes all three.
